Downtown Dallas 360: Quick Wins and Bold Ideas

Leveraging a decade’s worth of success, Downtown Dallas 360 identifies both “quick wins” and long-term strategies to ensure continued creation of a vibrant, economically competitive, and liveable Downtown environment.

On the morning of February 16, immediately prior to the DDI Annual Meeting, the Dallas City Council will be briefed on the completed Plan.  Our luncheon will serve as the celebration of this milestone, and officially launch 360 implementation.  By now, you have seen the plan’s strategies. The annual meeting will bring these ideas to life with a dynamic interactive presentation from Daniel Iacofano and Chris Beynon with M.I.G of specific projects and improvements, with a special surprise unveiling from DDI of just what we mean by “quick wins”.

In addition, outgoing Downtown Dallas, Inc. chair Shelle Sills will present our Chair’s Award to Larry Good.  As a past-chair of the organization, a member of our Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and head of countless Downtown task forces and committees, Larry exemplifies personal and professional dedication to the betterment of our community.  Most recently, Larry chaired DDI’s Housing Task Force and was named Chair of the Downtown Connection and City Center TIF boards.  He has been instrumental in many of the successes we celebrate today, including leading the charge in planning efforts that have resulted in projects like Main Street Garden and the McKinney Avenue Trolley extension.

Please mark your calendars for February 16th and be sure to join us for this special Meeting & Luncheon.
